You're a detective chasing down a perp across roof tops.

If you can't catch up to them, they'll escape.

Dear HelperWesly,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the effort you all have put into creating such a fantastic game and for that, I am truly grateful.

However, I was hoping to kindly request your assistance in further refining the game experience. Specifically, I have noticed some small areas for improvement that I believe could greatly enhance the overall gameplay. Firstly, I would greatly appreciate it if you could consider adding a space jump. I have found that it can sometimes be a bit annoying pressing space than realizing I was supposed to press w, and I believe that a small adjustment could make all the difference.

Additionally, I have noticed that the distinction between the background and level could be more pronounced. This would help to ensure that players are fully immersed in the gameplay and can easily differentiate between objects in the game environment.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I am truly grateful for all that you do and look forward to seeing the continued success of Delta Dash.

Sincerely,

Fire

Please allow a more traditional control scheme, like space for jump

Hey, I just played your game.

Here are my feedbacks on it :

- Animation of the personnage is cool

- Global ambiance in association with the music is well done

- All assets are clearly super polished

Things you should consider to improve :

- Bit hard to determine what is obstacle and what is not
- Bit frustrating to hit wall because you loose all the momentum.

I don't know if I'm bad at this game but I keep hiting things on the way x)

Congrats, it's so nice to see other Gdevelop dev on this platform :)

Thanks. I can't take any credit for the assets though. The music and art are from different people. They're linked in the game's description.

Not enough warning for what is/isn't an obstacle is a common complaint that I should have been more aware of.

And you're not bad at the game. It's just SUPER hard. lol.

you should export this game in .exe because i would personally  try to get the best time i can like a speed run  but that's just a opinion a stopwatch or timer would be a nice feature thought

It's a nice game, but in the future, you should make it obvious what are obstacles and what are not. It took me some time to realize I had to slide over a cola sign. Overall, nice game.

Thanks, and yeah, totally agree.

I tried darkening the background so the level objects stood out more, which helped a bit. But it still seems to be an issue.

I made the game in 48 hours, and I've been thinking about giving it a rework, but my time is pretty limited.

Since making this game I've made more devlogs on youtube about the things I'm working on:

This is a really cool game! but there is a small bug, where if I fall into this gap thing, I should die, but the game is still running.

The gap being there is actually the bug........ I've noticed that if you hit too many things the level starts to rip apart, causing gaps.
I didn't notice it in playtesting, because I'd played it so much that I'd gotten really good at the game and I would never hit obstacles.

But the game was made in 48 hours, so I didn't really have time for in depth play testing. lol.

Its still very polished and great for 48 hours.

I'm happy with how much I was able to do, but I'm a little embarrassed by it too, I've made much better games. lol.

"In'N'Out: Night Burglar" is a lot of fun, even though it doesn't look as nice. And that game was made in 7 days.

Nice game! Probably would work really good on the phone because of the simple controls. I think the UI needs to improve.

Definitely agree, I think in the back of my head I pictured this game as a mobile game while I was making it

This is my review on the game! I know you already saw it but I thought people might be interested to see someone else's thoughts after playing the game.

Awesome game man! I love the way you got those graphics pieced together. It really adds a lot.   I think if I were to give any constructive feedback, I would say it's a bit tough to know what are hazards and what aren't. The car looks like it should be, but the robot isn't. And also the short step area doesn't block your path, but the large block area does, even though they use the same foreground element. Anyway, great job!

Thanks, I've never used an art pack before, so I really didn't know what I was doing.... glad it's at least half way appealing to look at lol.

And yeah, I've gotten a lot of comments on making it clear what is/isn't an obstacle, and if I go back to this game and update it I'll definitely see what I can do to fix that.

And, the short step doesn't block your path, but the large block does?
I'm not sure what you mean.

Hi , there I am a game developer as well and I checked out your game Galaxy Bash ( Pretty cool). I just wanted to ask you if you would please inform me how you created your game to handle different screen resolutions. If you are able please create a video tutorial I would greatly appreciate this.
